Unity Platform
Branding
When I worked as the sole designer at Unity Influence, a Los Angeles-based startup, my roles spanned product design, UX, graphic design, and branding. Unity Influence aimed to streamline influencer-brand partnerships through an AI-driven platform. It automated campaign paperwork, promoted top content creators, provided guidelines, and ensured goal alignment, enhancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness. We defined the company’s values, tone of voice, personality, and talked to business partners and influencers, to better understand the two sides of the story. Our image should then be personable, modern, accessible and objective.
Website
As a small team, we performed lean, quick, and brief research. Our design efforts aimed for scalability, and great user experience. The biggest branding challenge was to design a website and a platform that are related to each other, but using different design patterns (as the first focused more on marketing and user adoption and the second focused on usability and function). See below website/platform architecture:
We had in mind users arrive at our page, find it easy to understand, find the company trustworthy, sign up, and migrate to the platform. There, we onboard them, give them a free bundle and in exchange ask for a series of questions. We performed user research to determine the best ways to make this evolution easy and fast.

System Architecture
We mapped out the MVP functionalities, highlighting human interactions to ensure excellent customer service. Qualitative interviews with four users revealed that the onboarding flow was too long. We reduced it from 18 to 12 steps and improved the checkout page based on feedback.

Product Requirements & Functionalities
The MPV was finally launched and our community of influencers and partner brands started to use it. This first version included the following functionalities:
5-minute campaign onboarding
Influencer score system
Influencer portfolio
Brand dashboard
Campaign report page
Kanban-like campaign management

Accomplishments
We hosted monthly dinners to foster a community among influencers, providing networking and feedback opportunities. In six months, we built Unity from concept to product launch, developed a comprehensive design system, and created a supportive influencer community. Our efforts improved team performance and promoted collaborative creation. After I left the company, Unity suffered many strategic shifts and ended up turning into Catalog, a talent marketplace for images, videos, and influencer content.
